+ THE BEGINNING
Thieves originally began as a small clothing line by Alex Jones during the latter months of 2005. Following his senior year of high school he moved to Chicago in the pursuit of a film career going to school at Columbia College. In the fall of 2007 Derek Weber was attending school at University of Illinois at Chicago. Having collaborated on a feature film the previous spring, it was only natural that Jones and Weber would join their forces to create Thieves Collective.
